LovelyMINOX A Spy Camera 1955 Fully Working, with Case &Chain
Iam down-sizing my Minox collection, so here are some lovely items.Combined postage available.
Thisis a gorgeous little Minox A. It gained a reputation as a spycamera in the 1950s, although it is usually used for normalphotography. You can easily buy the full range of films & usethis camera today to produce really good prints. It is ideal as asuper-small camera to carry everywhere.
TheMinox A was made from 1948, & is remarkable for such a compactlittle camera. The tiny shutter runs from sec to 1/1000 & runssweetly at all speeds. The Complan 15mm f3.5 lens is protected behinda filter, & there are two additional slide-in filters, orange &green.
Thefocusing goes from infinity down to an amazing 8 inches. The chromesnake chain has beads fitted at 8, 10, 12 & 1ft 6inchesto accurately measure close-ups! The viewfinder has a brightlineframe. It is linked to the focusing so that it swings to adjust forparallax when taking close-ups.
Thecamera is in lovely condition, with just tiniest marks to the satinchrome finish near the ends but these are so small they reallyhardly notice. There are no dents, knocks or rubs as are usually seenon these lovely little cameras. I have shown close up photos so youcan see what lovely condition it is in.
Itis fully working. It comes with its original snake chain with key fobon the end, & its original leather case. The serial number is72622, dating it to 1955.
Isell my spare cameras as collectibles. I try & describeeverything as well as possible, but most have not been tested withfilm.
