LINHOF TECHNORAMA 617 Panorama Camera 90mm Super Angulon 90/5.6 Lens +Hard Case This camera shows signs that it has been well loved- and well used. As you can see in the images there are marks on the body here and there and signs of general use. However there are no dents or signs of abuse. Functionally the camera is in full working order. The shutter fires very nicely at all speeds right down to one second and sounds accurate by ear, the aperture blades are clean and operate smoothly. Film advance, counter, and shutter release are all tested and working as they should. The Angulon lens is crystal clear with no signs of haze, fungus or separation. there are some light cleaning marks/scratches, very small on the front element- these are very minor and should not affect images noticeably. The rear element is very clean and mark free.
The paint markings are a bit worn on the depth of filed indicator, and the removable finder has some marks on it and seems to be missing a Linhof label on the top (see detailed photos above). Also the level bubble one the side of the finder seems to have lost some liquid over the decades so isn’t working as it should. It may be possible to top it up via the original hole where it was filled and then re-plug it with wax.
In short: I have priced this camera according the cosmetic wear and marks- it is perfect for someone who wants to actually use this camera rather than just have it in a display cabinet. You will not be disappointed. Legendary panoramic camera- takes 120 and 220 film.
Comes with original hard case, a metal Pentax lens cap that fits perfectly and a strap.

Given the advanced age of this gear it is sold AS IS and AS DESCRIBED. I cannot offer any extended warranty on items from my collection that are 30 to 140 years old. Such vintage items are only described and their most basic and important features noted. Tiny imperfections, flaws, specks of dust etc- may occur and not be described or mentioned. Issues that can only be found when film is run through the camera may not show up. Therefore these sales are final- there is no warranty offered.
I will accept returns if the items are significantly different than described- but you must contact me immediately after you receive the goods. Please remember this when you place your bid. Postage is non -refundable and items are returned at the buyers expense.
I am very happy to combine multiple orders into one package to save you money on postage (it saves me time at the post office!). I do not overcharge for postage and there is no handling charge.
