Vintage Brass Lens for large format camera. Thornton Pickard Beck. Symmetrical lens.
Brass laquere is old and a bit tatty. This lens is f8 to f64 and the aperture ring moves nicely through the whole range and so too does the iris. Glass is good. As I would expect with a lens this old there is some light dust inside but the lens unscrews so it can easily be blown out if necessary.
The focal length is about 8 1/2″ and has a coverage of about 5×4″ maybe even 5×7″.
