A beautiful Lordomat, a camera made in the same city as the Leica. Although much cheaper than any Leica camera, the quality is high.

I put a few rolls of film through this camera with very nice results. The lens is contrasty, and the rangefinder patch is pretty sharp (better than the Olympus rangefinders that I have from 10-20 years after this camera was made). The lens has a long throw, which makes for accurate focus (but is a bit slow). The lens can be changed.

Unfortunately, there is a problem with the frame advance lever such that it does not cock the shutter or advance the film. This would need to be addressed by an expert before this camera could be used, and the cost is hard to predict. The camera is being sold for spares or repair only.

I’m sorry to be giving this camera up, and not taking the hit and getting it fixed myself. However, I hope that someone can pick it up for a steal, give it some attention and get it back to taking pictures.
