This item is a Leica R3 vintage camera body.
I picked it up in a charity shop about a year ago with the intention of fixing it up and using it, however it’s been sitting in my photography tin ever since so it’s time for a new year’s clear out.
Cosmetically it’s good for its age with the odd mark here and there and could do with a bit of a clean, however it’s obviously been stored with no lens or cap so would need internal cleaning by someone who knows what they’re doing. The light seals have perished and will definitely need replacing but you can get new ones quite cheap on ebay.
For this reason I haven’t tested the camera in case dust or particles caused damage. It’s therefore listed as UNTESTED AND SPARES OR REPAIR.
The serial number is 1477818. The leica lenses for these tend to be quite expensive however I believe you can get Tamron Adaptall ones which will fit.
