A Leica IIIc rangefinder camera with Summitar 1:2 lens (including hood). Serial number 484571. Probably 1949 (vintage). Case included (battered but charming. It was bought second hand (?) in 1961 and has a flash socket connection installed: possibly fitted later.
An interesting model of interest to collectors. To the best of my knowledge it is working as it should.
The lens and rangefinder are clear and bright.
There is also a HANDBOOK (Leica Guide, Models 1 to M3, Focal Press -W.D. Emanuel, 4th Edition)
