This is an excellent LEICA camera designed by the ‘godfather of photography’ – Oskar Barnack, inventor of 35mm photography and creator of LEICA. This version is in working condition having recently CLA’d.
This is the rarer brown version.
It’s an extremely compact and light weight camera. It is built to LEICA’s exceptional standards!
It is one of the smallest all-mechanical, 35mm cameras.
The LEICA IIIc is one of the least expensive ways to get into the LEICA system. The camera take inexpensive M39 (LTM – leica threadmount) lenses. This camera has a built-in rangefinder.
It has variable rangefinder magnification up to 1.5x!
This particular camera has been recently CLA’d. Shutter fires fine on all speeds. The rangefinder patch is clear and works well. Film advance and rewind works smoothly.
Comes with original Leica film take-up spool. Body cap not included.
