I must point out that this camera is NOT a Leica. It is a Zorki made to look like a Leica. I have had this camera for a number of years and have never used it with a film. I used it as part of a display. It is finished in gun metal grey and engraved Leica. On the back it says ‘Luftwaffen eigentum’. Luftwaffen cameras were mainly IIIc’s and not II’s. Some of these cameras are FED’s made to look like Leicas but this one is a Zorki. Zorki cameras were better by far than FED cameras. Zorki cameras have a rib just below the top plate and above the bottom plate. Both FED’s and Leicas do not have this rib. The camera is in good condition and is quite useable. A Fuji film cassette slides in easily and is easy to get it out. The range-finder is correct as I have tested it with an 85mm f2 Jupiter which I KNOW to be correct. The performance of the lens is very good indeed. There is no sign of fungus in the optics. The performance is as follows:

The figures relate to lines per millimetre and was tested using a Fuji X-Pro 1. Some of the modern lenses are not as good as this one, although is just short of the genuine f3.5 Elmar
