Gorgeous brassed Leica III (Originally I) from 1930. Serial number is 33073. As shown in photographs, it is obviously worn but has the visible brass which has collected a following amongst Leica fans. This camera was bought from LCE (London Camera Exchange) & has received a full shutter service / rebuild by professional Leica repairs (Aperture Leica) in London, February 2020.
Optically, the rangefinder is good and easy to use. It is accurate. Mechanically, the item is near perfect. All speeds appear accurate, but the lowest speed is a little too quick (1 sec = 1/2 sec). Camera is film tested producing properly exposed images at all speeds. No light leaks. Rewind and wind on are great with no problems.
