This is a Kodak 66 Model III folding camera made by Kodak Ltd, London between 1958 and 1960. The Model II and the Model III were Kodak’s only post war folding cameras to take 120 film. The Model III features a Kodak Anaston lens in a Velio shutter as well as double exposure prevention. The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition and is in full working order. It comes boxed with its original instructions. Cosmetic condition (to be read in conjunction with the photographs)The leather on the body of the camera is in excellent condition with no scuffs or tears and no areas of lifting or missing leather. The nickel plated finishes are also excellent with no scratches or areas of corrosion. The grey plastic top plate is in very good condition with just a few very minor marks visible at certain angles. The black painted bands around the camera are generally in very good condition with just a few rubs and scratches where the paint is missing – see photos. The interior of the camera is excellent.
Operational Condition
The camera folds out well and clicks into place as it should. It is fitted with a Velio shutter which is fully operational at all speeds. The timing feels right, but will need to be checked if you intend to use this camera. The aperture and the focussing operate smoothly. The lens is a Kodak Anaston f/4.5  with a focal length of 75mm. The lens has some very light haze and a little dust but appears to be free from fungus. The back of the camera clips off smoothly on releasing the locking catch. The camera takes 120 roll film. Dimensions with the camera closed are 14 x 10 x 4cm and the camera weighs around 465g.
The camera comes with its original box, which in very good condition. It also has its original instructions which are complete but well used.
Overall this is an very nice example of this British made folding camera.  This camera has not been tested with film. Any camera of this age would probably benefit from a general mechanical service if you intend to use it. I check all lenses for fungus as best I can, but do not guarantee that any lens is entirely fungus free. I recommend having any lens professionally cleaned if you intend to use the camera. Due to the age of this camera it is being sold as seen without warranty.
