**Re-listed due to cancelled order**
This is an Ensign Ful-Vue II box camera produced by Barnet Ensign in London between 1946 and 1950. It was one of a range of Ful-Vue cameras produced from 1939 to the mid 1950s. It is a simple metal bodied camera with two shutter settings for T and I and was known for its quirky oversized viewfinder. This particular camera is in excellent cosmetic condition and is in full working order. It comes with its original case and box.
Cosmetic condition (to be read in conjunction with the photos)The black metal body is generally in very good condition with a few very minor areas of paint loss – see photos. The nickel plated fittings are in good condition as is the interior of the camera. The oversized viewfinder is in unusually good condition. Operational conditionThe shutter lever operates as it should on both T and I settings. The waist level viewfinder is in superb condition and provides an almost perfect image. The focussing works as it should and the meniscus lens appears to be clean and fungus free. The camera comes out of its box as it should on releasing the locking mechanism. Dimensions are 8 x 10.5 x 10.5cm and the camera weighs 420g. The camera comes with a 120 film in the chamber and is in its original plasticised canvas case which is in excellent condition. It also has its original box which is in fair condition, held together with tape. Overall, this are very nice little British made camera in excellent condition This camera has not been tested with film and as with any camera of this age it would probably benefit from a general mechanical service if you intend to use it. I check all lenses for fungus as best I can, but do not guarantee that any lens is entirely fungus free. I recommend having any lens professionally cleaned if you intend to use the camera. Due to the age of this camera it is being sold as seen without warranty.  This camera will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class service.
