Superb example of sought-after 35mm compact with shutter priority automation, automatic fill-flash computation and coupled rangefinder. This is an unusually complete outfit including original ever ready case, original lens cap, and Konica Auto-Up close-up attachment allowing focusing down to 1.6 feet with full use of the rangefinder. There is also the original instruction booklet and Hoya Skylight filter.
The camera is cosmetically immaculate with only the most trivial marking on closest inspection – the only issue is the battery cap which is plastic on this model and which has become rather “chewed” over time, but still useable. Viewfinder clear, lens with tiny dust deposits as usual, rangefinder with distinct secondary image and correctly adjusted. The camera was fully serviced and new light seals fitted when I purchased it 18 months ago, and I have only put one film through it. All functions are fully operational and the camera is ready to use (please see sample shots). It was designed for (and tested with) a 1.35v mercury battery, but modern batteries can be used with appropriate calibration of the film speed.
Case in beautiful condition with none of the usual deterioration. Auto-Up is unused new old stock, unpacked only for photography, boxed with case and instructions. Scarce original English language instructions are in virtually perfect condition, no markings or graffiti.
