In 1982, Kodak launched what they thought would be a revolutionary product: disc film. Instead of fumbling around with roll film or awkwardly shaped cartridges, consumers could now load their cameras by simply inserting a thin, sleek bit of plastic into the back.

The first of the two cameras for sale is a classic Kodak Tele Disc. This camera offers a handy two lens choice: a normal 12.5mm f/4 and 22mm f/5.6 telephoto.  To swap the lens, you just need to extend the flash and it rotates the telephoto lens into place and also swaps in a new viewfinder.

The second camera is the Boots Disc 215, which was launched in the middle of the disc camera era in order to spice up the UK retailer’s lineup. The camera has a f/3.5 12.5mm lens and three selectable apertures.

Unlike many disc models, both cameras use standard batteries for their flashes and brand-new Duracells are powering them nicely.

Both cameras have been tested and are fully working (including flashes). Along with the cameras are two expired part-used films (one Konica and one Boots) with seven shots left on each. Similar expired disc films have developed successful, though I can’t guarantee it.
