For sale is a Kodak Six-20 Popular ‘Brownie’ box camera.Made in London, Great Britain during the war austerity of between 1939 to 43 by Kodak Ltd. The camera gives 8 exposures in 6X9 cm format on 620/ 120 film (620 film is 120 film on a thinner metal spool).It is in great condition for its age: The all card body is good, with no damage. The chrome & paintwork is good with only a minor tarnish & paint loss. The original leatherette covering is very good with only some light patches of wear on some edges/ corners. The leather strap handle is in great condition. Please see photos for condition details.The single element Meniscus lens is clean & clear of scratches, bloom & fungus.The 2 waist level viewfinders are good clear & they give a clear image through both them with only a little dust inside.The single fixed aperture is of about F11.It has a shutter with I (instant) of around 1/30th & T (time) are all working & look/ sound right. The focus is fixed.The camera opens up in 2 halves with 2 locking/ opening latches & are working as they should. It has 1 red window at the back in good complete condition.The film wind-on is smooth, not too loose or stiff.Comes with an empty 620 metal take up spool.Any questions welcome, for postage options or for further details / photos please email me.I will combine postage & ship worldwide.
