This is a Retinette IIa camera (Type 036) made by Kodak AG in Germany between 1959 and 1960. It features a Prontormat shutter and Schneider Kreuznach Reomar f/2.8 lens with a focal length of 45mm.  This camera is in excellent cosmetic condition (could be described as ‘near mint’, apart from the winder) but has a number of issues and is being sold for spares or repair.

The issues are:

The focus ring is inoperative. The viewfinder does not give a clear imageThe winder is fully operational, but is missing its leather insert and looks as though it has been repaired in the past

Apart from these problems, all is well with the camera – the shutter works on all settings and the lens is in good clean condition

Overall, this is an nice example of this well made German camera. It has not been tested with film. I check all lenses for fungus as best I can, but do not guarantee that any lens is entirely fungus free. I recommend having the lens professionally cleaned if you intend to use this camera.

Due to the age of this camera it is being sold as seen without warranty.

This camera will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class post.
