Kodak Retinette 1B 35mm Camera – Type 045 with the improved shutter 45mm F2.8 Lens. The camera for its age is in good condition ( see images provided). The camera body shows very few signs of use and has very few marks to it . Just a couple of paint chips and light surface marks . The film leathers are firmly intake . ( please see images provided. I have checked over the Camera and found all its functions to be working as they should be . The viewfinder is bright and clear and through it you can see the frames lines and the needle swing to get correct exposure. The light meter is working and responds to a change in aperture or shutter speed . How accurate it is cannot confirm . The lens is free from marks and scratches and has no signs of haze or fungus. The internal aperture blades are not sticking open and close as they should . The shutter speed dial on the lens feels nice and clicky and not worn . Listening to the shutter speeds when the shutter is pressed , I would say they sounded correct . Shutter speeds are bulb mode to 500 of a second The aperture dial is lovely and smooth and testing the opening of the aperture blades at each aperture setting I would say the blades are working correctly . The film advance and rewind is working correctly as I put a test roll of film through it to check out the mechanism is functional. Overall a lovely little vintage camera
