A well used camera which has scratches and scuff marks on the outer surfaces. The film counter doesn’t appear to work automatically though it can be manually adjusted. Manufactured between 1951 and 1954. The interior of this mechanical camera is in good condition and has a label stating that the sole importer into Canada is Canadian Kodak Co Ltd, though my understanding is that the camera was acquired in the UK. The built-in folding f2 50mm Retina-Xenon lens operates between f2 – f16, with shutter speeds from 1 second to 1/500th as well as a manual hold “B” stop and focal length is from 3.5feet to infinity. It has the model’s standard features including a flash mount, film type indicator, mechanical film winder and shutter release button as well as a socket for a wire shutter release on the top. The lens opening button is on the base, access for which is available whilst remaining in the case, which is a genuine Kodak Field Case manufactured in Rochester NY, USA and which is included in the sale. Some of the stitching on the case is worn and there are signs of wear on the case edges and corrosion on the metal fixings. Please see the pictures.
