Kodak No.2 Folding Autographic Brownie camera.

A chance to own part of Kodak’s early camera history.

This model is a folding bellows camera (not guaranteed to be light proof)

designed to be hand held or stood on a table with the drop down camera support.

The view finder is a small prism at the top of the lens that can be swiveled through 90 degrees

to use for portrait or landscape viewing, both at waist level.  No prizes for the view finder design though.

There are 4 shutter settings. 1/25, 1/50, B & T. Although the T setting does not seem to be working too well,

but I don’t suppose this is an important feature for a buyer as this is a collectors item and not sold to be a working model.

The other setting on the camera is the aperture control.  The settings are f4, f8, f16, f32 & f64.

The front opens by releasing the catch between the body and the lens mount.

This drops down the lens panel and the lens mount just slides out by pulling on the silver knob at the base of lens mount.

To close press the catch at the bottom of the lens mount and push the mount towards the body.

To close the front press the two hinge brackets and push the front closed.

To access the film compartment slide the silver clip near the hinge of the front panel an the whole lens assembly should slide off.

The camera is referred to as the autographic model because there is a slot at the rear of the camera that can be accessed in order

to scratch a reference directly onto the film with the stylus attached to the slot cover.

Also included is the original cloth fabric case. Condition commensurate with its age.
