This classic Kodak instamatic 300 camera is in good working order and in great condition.
The shutter snaps very cleanly
The lenses are in great condition and lovely and bright.
All levers, knobs etc move nice and smoothly as they should.
Also comes in it’s original case which is in nice condition too.
A classic camera that is capable of taking great snaps.

Kodak Instamatic 300 description.The instamatic brand was created by Kodak as a simple camera for family snap shots. The whole concept was of a camera which needed no adjustment or control you simply put a film in the back and fired away. They even developed a new film type for the camera, the 126 cartridge. With this cartridge there was no messing about feeding take up spools or rewinding at the the end of the film. You just dropped the film into the film cartridge and once it had been fully exposed you took the cartridge out and sent it for development. The film inside the cartridge was the same size as 35mm film, although the picture taken was square at 24mm x 24mm rather that the 35mm 36mm x 24mm.The 300 model is slightly more sophisticated than most Instamatics because it had a light cell to measure the light level and used that information to drive the cameras exposure system. There is also a meter needle which, if it becomes visible in the viewfinder, is used to warn the photographer that there isnt enough light to take the picture and therefore to raise the built in pop-up flash gun………..

This patina is what makes old things special and interesting. Our photographs are taken in a way that tries to show any age wear.

We are very well known for our very high quality packing of orders (please see our feedback). Once your order has been posted is out of our hands, and have no control over how the courier handles or treats it. If, on those rare occasions it should arrive with you broken or damaged, please let us know straight away. We would always advise to take clear photos of both the packaging and the damage done, as this really speeds up refunds etc. Just send them to us with your message.
Our shipping costs are accurately worked out to cover Postage, packing, insurance and fees. We always try to be as fair priced as we can.
We prefer payments immediately after the sale, but realise this is not always possible. So we are quite happy to allow up to 4 days for payment. If there is no communication or payment within 4 days will have no option but to report this to eBay and relist the item. This is the last thing we want to happen as it leaves bad feelings for everyone.
