KODAK BANTAM F.8 (1938-42)
Bakelite body with pop out lens. Kodalinear f.8/40mm lens with single speed shutter.Metal viewfinder.Weight 200g (7 oz)
The body is in generally good condition for its age except for a tiny chip on the base by the join of the front & back (see photo). There are some minor signs of use on the bakelite, but not really sufficient to spoil the appearance of the camera. The chrome is a little dulled.The shutter does work, but I reckon it’s slow and sluggish.(Who isn’t after 80 years??)
I prefer to post via Special Delivery. I know it costs a little more but it does include insurance and is tracked and “signed for” on delivery. This protects both seller and buyer.However, given that this is a relatively inexpensive and robust little camera, I will use 2nd Class “Signed For” (which still includes up to 50 insurance) if preferred.
