Kinotar 6mm f1.9 Wideangle Lens for D-mount Movie Camera – Bolex etc.
D-mount lens mount commonly found on 8mm movie cameras have a thread diameter of 15.88 mm (0.625 inch) and Mount thread pitch of 32 TPI.
Kino Precision Industries, Limited was founded in 1959. The company started making lenses for 8mm movie cameras, available in the US under the ‘Kinotar’ brand name.
Vintage Kinotar 6mm f1.9 Wideangle Lens.
Clean glass, smooth focusing down to almost 5ft and aperture to f16.
May need cleaning and lubricating before use as aperture blades tend to stick sometimes.
Made in Japan.
Good condition with no damage. Minor metal tarnishing in places which does not affect its use.
