1993 KIEV 60 TTL slr 6×6 medium format camera adjusted and film tested.

Batteries not included. Dispatched with Royal Mail with tracking.

A camera is used but in very good condition with some scratches over a paint, mostly on a door cover. No dents.

The advance mechanism has been carefully adjusted to provide an oportunity to take 13 frames on standard 120 film. To do that you just need to use white dot when you load the film as usually. And then don’t forget to cover/blank the lens when you will take 14th blank frame. 14th (blank) frame overlaps the extra 13th frame, that’s why it needs to be covered off.  If you don’t mind and you’re happy with 12 frames, just use standard red dot when you load the camera.

The other job after usual clean up was shutter speed check and adjustment, you can see the results on pictures. The shutter is relatively stable, sometimes the 1/15 comes as 1/30 of a second, but other speeds are ok, the 1/2 is a little bit too fast, but it’s normall for kievs 60, I mean it could be adjusted perfectly but it will effect to the other speeds. The 1/1000s could be even shorter, but it will effect uneven exposure (I’ve tested it), so I’ve left it as it is now. By saing that the shutter is stable I mean this particular camera was still able to get adjusted without a need to take it apart completly. If you tried to adjust older KIEV (6C) you know…

The TTL metered prism works fine and is free of fungus, dust, corrosion, etc., it takes normal lr44 batteries.

If you like to use Kiev 60 and you never tried before, you need to reed some common tips easilly available on net to prevent you camera from damage and to be always happy with the results. Be carefull with the wind lever and your camera will thank you everytime.

I liked it anyway even more than my Pentacon six, especially for split image focussing screen and the prism. But, never forget how heavy is the Kiev 60.

Any questions, just ask me, whatever I do I don’t like to make anyone disapointed or unhappy.

UK bidders only.
