Here is a nice used KE-12(2) ARMY 4×5 GRAFLEX SUPER SPEED GRAPHIC CAMERA . The camera works but has a few shortcomings. One lens board lock is partially missing but the board seems to hold in ok. There is no ground glass at the rear but please note… a Graflex 4×5 Graflok back insert with ground glass, Fresnel lens and hood will fit this camera if the rear sliders are unscrewed (only four screws). The Graflok insert will then clip in place.
For those wanting this as display rather than use I will include a late model Graphic 4×5 film pack adapter to cover the back. The camera’s rear battery cover is also missing but that’s not a big deal. A Graflex Strob 250 flash is also included, working condition unknown.
The camera itself is based on the Graflex Super Speed Graphic and has the 1/1000 shutter that is cocked by winding the silver outer ring. It seems to fire well at all faster speeds from 1/125 up (I haven’t tested the 1000 speed as it isn’t recommended). The slower speeds appear to be slower than they should. The shutter has an Open/Close lever that allows you to open the shutter blades to focus the Optar 135mm lens which looks to be clear. The rangefinder doesn’t seem to work but I never understood this version.
Australian and world wide insured postage at cost. If actual shipping is less than quoted I will refund the difference. Be aware it is quite heavy.
