Japanese Pentax ME Super retro late 1970s-early 1980s camera + original manual.
Another exciting vintage camera find from the collection I started at University but never finished!!! This is quite the snazzy camera and it comes with its original late 1970s/early 1980s instruction booklet (see photo). A perfect wee camera as a prop, accessory, for parts or usage. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Condition:
Condition: okay. The leather case exterior is very worn but the metal studs are perfectly fine. The camera itself has no lens cap and the metal components on the top have small bits of erosion but apart from that, its not looking that bad. The lining of the case has a tear (see photo). The strap itself is in very good condition.
Description:
The case outside is a black leather type of material with ASAHI PENTAX embossed on to the lens end. To the left of it is an AP metal logo. The case has a purple/maroon velvety lining. The strap is strengthened fabric with metal PENTAX adjustable buckles/clips.
The body of the camera is a mix of mostly textured black plastic and silver metal trims. The film winder and shutter are mostly black plastic. Sadly I have no cap but the lens has the writing SMC PENTAX-M 1:1.7 50mm 6208531 ASAHI OPT. CO., JAPAN. The f-number and aperture details are engraved on the lens edge in white, yellow and orange. The camera front has PENTAX proudly displayed with MEsuper to the left of it. The timer is just below and is a mix of metal and black plastic with a with a cream highlight. On the back there is a black trimmed viewfinder and a random dark rectangle below it. Not sure why? Also please be aware that I dont know if the camera works. The base has a tripod screw.

Ive researched online and due to condition I am going to start the bidding at 0.99 with P&P at 6.00 which should cover signed for proof of delivery parcels and the buying of extra packaging if needed.
International P&P is about 12.00. Please note I am only sticking to the UK, Ireland and EU as sending it further afield gets complicated my end.
