A very interesting camera the body no. and lens numbers point to,looking at the ADVOCATE survey carried out by DAVID GARDNER (see last picture) this being a Series 1a camera but as you can see from picture 8 it has a black pressure plate (though I understand they started painting the pressure plates at some stage).Also there is an attachment on the side of the camera (used for flash maybe) which I have been unable to find anything about perhaps camera would be labelled a modified 1a .Seems to work ok shutter opens and closes.Comes with original case.in very good condition.If I am able to ascertain any more details about this camera I will amend the details.
