A rare Houghton Butcher Mfg Wooden Box. The hinges are marked with the date 1918. Two brass/copper hook latches to either side, with a lift up ring latch to one side end. There is a ” Military” arrow type mark on the top.In very good condition…..very similar one sold on another site for 470…
Houghton Butcher are known for photographic products from early cameras onwards.
