HILREMANN & MOREAU HEMAX TROPICAL CAMERA TEAK WOOD TAN bellows 9×12 #3959 This is a 1920s HILREMANN & MOREAU “HEMAX” “COLONIAL” TROPICAL CAMERA with TAN BELLOWS. 9×12 FORMAT with a GREAT ROUSSELL STYLOR 135/4.5 lens in a COMPUR shutter.
The camera is in “EX+” cosmetic condition with light signs of age/use. The Viewfinder mirror has a new mirror. The lens is clean and clear with no haze or scratches. The shutter is working at all speeds/settings. The original EXTRA LONG tan leather bellows are EXCELLENT -solid and light tight.
PLEASE NOTE:
Fold out frame finders are missing!The mechanism to clamp the front standard to the rails (to keep it from sliding) is missing!
The camera back with ground glass is missingThe release button for the front door is not original!
