The Box Ensign 2B was made by Houghton-Butcher in the UK from 1912 into the 1920s. The camera was changed in 1923 by adding a wire frame viewfinder to the front and loading film from the back. It took 23 (69cm) negatives on 120 films (Ensign 2B film). It has a simple rotary 1/50 of a second Instant/Timed shutter. This one has the wire frame and so dates from the 1920s. This example is in excellent condition and all working. It has been well protected by its canvas case. Can be collected from OL6 &PS or posted to you.
