The Kinax II is a folding camera for typeNo. 620 roll film, made by Kinax in Paris from 1946 to 1950.Several variants were made. It is a folder with a self-erecting bellows thatallows no lens movements.The one shown at the right has a Berthiot Flor 1:4.5 F=105mmlens and an IPO shutter withself-timer, with speeds 1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/10, 1/25,1/50, 1/150 and 1/350 sec. plus B mode and with a diaphragm that’s stoppabledown to f32. The lens is focusable from 1.75 m to infinity by turning the frontlens element. It has a collapsible reverse Galilean finder withthe ocular lens in a thumb wheel.This wheel with its distance scale allows correction of ocular heightas means of parallax correction. In the camera back is aclosable red film advance control window.
