PLEASE READ ALL THE LISTING BEFORE PURCHASING.This item is a USED item, it has been described here honestly and transparently, if anything is worth noting about it’s good/bad condition working/not working I will do so here. BUT if there is anything you feel I have not covered within the description (the photos form part of the description) or you want clarification, please do so before bidding or purchasing as Returns are not accepted. thank you.

For sale here is a nice Ensign 220 dual format camera. The dual format allows the user to switch between 6×6 format (12exp) & 6×4.5 format (16 exp) by adjusting the internal film mask & viewfinder. I shot a film through at 6×4.5 format and was pleased with the results. I used a phone app for light readings & guessed distance. See pics above taken with the camera.

Condition report…
The camera is in good cosmetic condition all of the shutter speeds work, the aperture settings all open & close as they should, the self timer has not been tested (I never do), the lens is clean & clear of fungus etc. The bellows are in good condition. I noticed occasionally when I pressed the shutter release the shutter did not fire on the first attempt, the shutter would partly release but not fully, I simply had to recock the shutter to its fully cocked position & press the shutter button again, I ended up with 16 well exposed negs. The only other small issue is the latch that is supposed to hold the camera closed doesn’t engage and hold the folded lens assembly in place, in practice not a problem as the case hold’s the camera closed.

Sold as seen no returns accepted.

Thanks for looking

Any questions, please ask before purchasing, I’m happy to help!
