ENSIGN RANGER II with ROSS XPRES f/3.8 105mm. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For
A basic 6×9 120 film camera with a 4-element-in-3-groups lens.
This particular camera has an upgrade from its original f/6.3 Ensar lens in 3-speed Trikon shutter to f/3.8 Xpres with Epsilon 8-speed components. The removed original components are provided.
[ The Ranger II is like a ‘barebones’ Selfix 820, having the same basic body, but omitting the body-mounted shutter release with film winder interlock, glass in the pop-up viewfinder, and the dual-format mask.
A few Rangers were marketed by Ensign with the f/3.8 Xpres. ]
