RARE FEATURES
This Advocate is unique in that it has unpainted take-up & filmsprocket spools,with a larger diameter.
(photo 2)It has always been thought that these had been painted,however this
example shows this not to be the case…likely afeature that crossed over from a prototype into the first few camerasoff the production line.

The shutters engraved ‘FEET'(capitals) which is also unlike any other seen before…The supposition is that Ilford may have decided to enlarge the engraving to make this word more visible.(photos 4 & 10)

Camera comes with original case..No strap.
