Contax RTS body plus 3 Yashica lenses, cable release and Instruction manual.
I bought the camera body in 1979 to replace a Yashica FX3 that had failed. This camera behaved much better, although you can see from the photographs that it has had an active life in the intervening years. The few scrapes that have marked its exterior have not affected its function as a camera. Do note however that there are a few small flecks on the focus screen that are apparent through the viewfinder when looking at a plain field or bright sky. They have been there since the mid 1980s and have not changed since. They do not affect the focus aid in the viewfinder or the photos one takes. They might however annoy a perfectionist. The same perfectionist will note that the small plastic lug that fits onto the cable release socket on the backplate of the camera is missing.
I am including the three Yashica lenses that I have used with the camera. They are:-
50mm ML f1.7135mm DSB f2.835-70mm MC Zoom f3.5-4.5
All lenses are of roughly the same age as the camera. All are clean and clear, and functioning. Their front elements have always been protected by skylight filters, and they appear unscratched. The paint on the focus ring of the zoom lens is perhaps a little thin on the edge of the ring, but otherwise they are in good cosmetic shape for their age. The 50mm has its original Yashica lens cap, the Zoom is now sporting a Vivitar one, whilst the 135mm has a Contax cap. (If you are interested in real Contax lenses, I am selling my Zeiss 25mm Distagon in a separate listing…)
I am including the original Instruction Manual for the RTS body, a cable release and a couple of rolls of out of date colour print film. The strap is also included.
The specifications for the camera are:-
