Selling this wonderful CINE-KODAK eight-55 cine camera for charity, Raven House Trust (Charity reg. nos. 1031971. Raven House Trust is an amazing charity that helps the really vulnerable in our community, be-it with food and furniture relief. The charity is supporting more and more people in our area and is a non-profit (charity) organisation.The cine-camera appears in good condition for a 1950s model ( – with bag).Please see photos and details below;Kodaks Cine-Kodak brand first started making double run 8mm cameras in 1932, beginning with the Eight Twenty model.
The model for sale is a Cine-Kodak Eight-55 camera, which dates from 1950s. As with the earlier models, this cine movie camera is for double run 8mm film from 25′ reels.
This camera is fitted with a Kodak Cine Ektanon lens f/13mm in screw mount and it has a direct vision optical finder with parallax marks.
The camera has a sprocketless claw drive via clockwork power, which lasts for approx 25 to 30 secs. The motor is still operational. The camera is supplied with a collection reel and its original carry case (see photo). The camera condition is good with only minor signs of wear/age.
