For sale a very rare Canon P with red sakura engraving, meaning it was special production for the Japanese Self Defence Force.
Shutter times are working, but there is an issue with the shutter curtain. When the shutter is cocked there is no visible problem (photo 5). When you advance the film and before you fully advance it – I have stoped the process to saw you the way the curtain is (photo 6). The last photo (7) is when you have fully advanced it. I haven’t run a film yet to check if there is light passing. The shutter times seem to work as they should, including B. Rangefinder patch seems fine.
The camera is sold for repair and as not working properly because of the afore mentioned issue, hence to low starting price for such a collectors item.
