Vintage Canon FT QL 35mm SLR Body with Canon FL “Breech Lock” 50mm f1.8 lens, in Very Good Condition.
A classic Canon film SLR from the 1960’s. Built to last, to a standard not seen today.
All metal construction, so a fair weight in the hand, but simply superb engineering.
All manual controls, mechanical shutter, so only needs a battery for the exposure meter.
Whilst not film tested, all controls and functions work as they should, smooth focussing and film winder, snappy iris, shutter runs at all speeds and sound as they should. Exposure meter, self timer and mirror lock all work well and the lens is clear and bright too.
As with most cameras of this age, the foam light seals in the back are perished, so may need replacing if any light leaks are apparent on film test.
Cosmetic condition is excellent – with very few minor marks visible. Close to collectable condition. Supplied with original Canon lens cap.
