CANON EOS 1000FN 35MM CAMERA WITH SIGMA 70-210MM F4-F5.6 LENS, FILM & CASE.
This is an opportunity to purchase a vintage Canon EOS 1000FN 35mmCamera with Sigma 70-210mm f4-f5.6 Lens, Film and Case.
Serial No: 6610963.
Some minor cosmetic wear but overall in excellent condition.
The Canon EOS range were the best selling autofocus SLR cameras in their time, and the EOS 1000FN 35mm film model, an updated version of the 1000F and introduced in 1992 is lightweight at only 490g and compatible with the vast range of Canon EF and independent EF-fit lenses. It was known in the States as The Rebel.
There is automatic or manual focusing, the built in motor loads the film automatically, winds on at up to one frame per second, and rewinds the film at the end. Shutter speeds of 30 seconds to 1/2000th in half stops and flash synchronisation up to 1/90th, plus B for time exposures.
The mode dial on top of the camera has auto-focus and auto-exposure with a full range of automatic, manual and scene modes: fully manual, fully automatic, Sports, People, Animals, Landscapes and Macro. The self-timer (12 seconds) can play a choice of music instead of a beeping countdown.
The mode dial also contained a new feature called SF for Soft Focus setting. This feature takes 2 exposures on the same frame. The first exposure is in focus and the second soft. The soft setting can be adjusted in two steps and allows you to create blurred artistic shots automatically.
Matched to a SigmaMulti-coated 70-210mm f4-f5.6 UC Zoom Lens (serial no: 1027204) in excellent working condition with no sign of dust, haze or fungus. The lens comes with bothfront and rear protective caps, lens hood, warranty certificate and theoriginal box.
It is powered by 1x 2CR5 6V battery (not included) and uses 35mm film.
Comes complete with neck strap, Oyster 2000 carry case, information sheets and a roll of 35mm film (MX200 – expired 09/04).
Has been checked with a new battery and all functions work correctly.
