This is a vintage Canon AE-1 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera produced by Canon Camera K.K. in Japan from 1976 to 1984.This one is the more sought after black body version.It is supplied with a Canon FD 50mm 1:1.8 S.C. prime lens, a Canon strap and it’s original Canon case.There is a vast range of FD, FDn and FL lenses that will fit this camera’s Canon FD breech-lock lens mount.The camera is tested and is in full working order (battery not included) and has had new light seals fitted.Optically the lens is clean, clear and fungus free.Cosmetically both the camera and lens are in very good vintage condition, there is some paint rubbing on the top of the pentaprism and a couple of spots on the base plate (last photo), overall it is very clean and damage free.One small things to mention; the camera case has rubbing on the two internal fasteners (see the last photo, this is a common problem, you will rarely see one not rubbed, unless it is unused) otherwise it is in excellent condition.
