Here for sale is an excellent condition (signs of light use only) Canon A1 with the standard 50mm f1.8 new type lens. New light seals and mirror buffer have been fitted using the correct materials. The camera has been tested using colour slide film, which is very critical of exposure. The results were sharp and contrasty with excellent exposures. The shutter speeds look and sound correct. Absolute accuracy is nor guaranteed. The shutter is opening fully on the faster speeds and not tapering. The battery door is undamaged. The screen and mirror are in excellent condition. Only a Canon lens cap is included. As with most cameras of this era I found it best to remove the battery after a days shooting and reinsert it when resuming photographing. A battery is not included. The item will be very well packaged for next day Special Delivery (UK). Overseas postage is also available.
