Yes, only 100 such sets were available at the time. Nikon F3/T Classic SetThe camera body, the lens and all of their presentation boxes sport the same serial number, it is, 5000076. The camera, additionally, has a “T”, prior to the series of numbers both at the back of its advance side top shoulder and at the baseplate (T076). Such “T” stands for “Titanium”.
The “50” at the beginning of the serial number refers “ANDO & CO.”‘s 50th Anniversary, as far as I was able to know.
By the way, the manufacture code located by the hinge of the F3/T (looks like 00YH) suggests that this F3/T was produced on October, 2000. Cosmetics: AMAZING FIND! This is an UNUSED set! It comes in original matchingserial #’s boxes. Mechanics/Optics:I personally tested the camera and it proved to be in perfect working order inevery sense. Even the LCD display shows crispy clear and perfectly visibleexposure values. The lens features clean clear crystal clear glass and silkysmooth like day one focusing operation and theaperture blades are free of oil.
