Make sure to check out the rest of my listings after you look at this one. I’ve got seven great no-reserve auctions running this week, and even if you’re someone who’s difficult to please, I suspect you’ll find something that pleases you. And don’t forget, you can click this link to quickly add and then save me to your favorite seller list and Ebay will automatically send you updates when I put similar new auctions online.
Here’s a beautiful, ancient, quite rare, and quite amazing Kodak Brownie No. 2 camera and darkroom outfit manufactured in Rochester NY and exported to France for sale as an all-in-one solution to “instant” photography.  TOUT S’Y FAIT EN PLEIN JOUR, the box somewhat misleadingly promises — “Everything can be done in broad daylight.”
The outfit consists of a Brownie No. 2 camera (with its original full-color box — a prize in itself), a film developing tank, three trays for print development, a glass beaker for measuring chemicals, printing paper, a small printing frame, and of course chemicals.
Condition of everything is excellent, particularly when you consider that this outfit was obviously sold as a starter set, possibly during the Christmas season.  Minimal wear to the various components, and the cardboard boxes are in good shape, too, especially the Brownie box, which rarely turns up looking as good as the one you see here.
Carrying case is still sturdy, with its original hinges and latches. Some wear to faux leather green covering, but overall this is an exceptionally nice set that’s been well taken of over the years and will likely not turn up again any time soon.
When closed, the case measures approximately17″ x 10″ x 5″.  Shipping weight approximately 15 lb.
That’s about it.  I’ll be happy to ship the camera almost anywhere in the world, but auction participants with hidden feedback, or with no prior feedback, should contact me before placing a bid.
