BiloraBella 46 127 film camera with mini tripod TheseBella cameras date from the 1950s and were available in a number of colourcombinations – this particular example being finished in a very attractiveblue/grey body with pale olive leatherette coverings. Made in Germany, theconstruction is solid and the moving parts feel like they’ll last a lifetime. Thecamera is in fully working condition and takes eight (6cm x 4cm) negatives perroll of 127 film. While you’re unlikely to still find 127 film at your localbranch of Boots it can still be found online making this a viable user camera.Even if you don’t use it for its intended purpose it makes for an incrediblypretty display piece. TheBella features two shutter speeds (1/50 and 1/100) plus Bulb, two aperturesettings (f/8 and f/11), focus from 1m to infinity, a PC sync socket for flashand a threaded shutter release – what more could you ask for? Cosmeticscan be judged from the pictures above – I’d say it was in very good conditionfor its age with just a few minor signs of use. The lens is free from scratchesand fungus, the back locks securely (with an ingenious and decorative catchsystem) and there is a take up spool included. Alsoincluded is a mini-tripod to either steady Bella in the field or to display herin pride of place on your camera shelf. All she needs now is a good home to goto.
