This is a vintage 35mm folding film camera manufactured at Max Baldeweg’s new Balda Kamera-Werk factory in Bunde, West Germany (B W Bunde)
The model is the Baldinette, it was introduced in circa 1950
It features a body mounted shutter release and an above standard 50mm 1: 3.5 Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar Lens
The camera is in working order, but the shutter is sticking on speeds from 1 to 1/10 second, it is working OK from 1/25 to 1/300 second and B, the bellows are in good condition
Optically the lens is free from scratches and fungus, but there is some internal age related haze and dust
Cosmetically it is in good vintage condition, with just minor signs of use and rubbing
The camera is supplied with it’s original leather and metal trimmed case, it is quite distressed, the top section is missing and the strap has come away at one side
The camera is a nice compact size at 12cm x 8cm x 8.5cm deep when open, it is still a usable 35mm camera, and will display really well as part of a vintage camera collection
