This is a spare motor I bought as part of a lot of various items for my Arriflex BL 16mm camera.
25fps SYNC motor for Arriflex 16BL. Designed to run off mains supply for Television studio production.
This motor has electronics that uses the very stable AC supply to give highly accurate synchronous 25fps shooting for Television Production. This is the European version of the motor so is designed to utilize 220/240V at 50Hz but does require a step-down transformer to 42V, which I don’t have.
I can’t check if it is working as I don’t have a suitable transformer to step down the 240/220V AC to 42V, but given the like new condition I would be very surprised if it was not in working condition. It looks new and unused as if it was just kept but never used. Totally enclosed in machined metal body.
It is certainly a European spec. motor as I bought it from a German seller.
You might use this as a donor motor to repair a broken motor or even use it if you have no 16BL motor if you can find a correct transformer or make your own. I don’t know if that can be done, but 42V power set-ups come up for sale frequently on French and German e-bay. I am selling as I have no use for it.
(I have a 16BL with a Tobin XTL controller that I will be listing shortly, so I don’t really need this motor.)
It’s quite a heavy object so I am going to quote a delivery price of 10 in the UK, more for international due to the weight. I’ll calculate it accurately and I’ll refund any major difference in postage charges. As I have always stated, I like to be fair to any buyer. Item is in NW London should you wish to see it or collect.
