Re-listed…..Large Antique Mahogany 1/2 Plate Sanderson Field Camera, serial no 1653. This lovely 1/2 plate camera dates to the 1890s and is in good overall condition for age with no splits or cracks to the mahogany wood work. Comes with a Taylor Taylor & Hobson Leicester & London Series 111 9 1/2 Cooke Anastigmat no 22254 f6.5-f45. Which shows small fungus bloom to front element. Mounted in a Thornton Pickard roller blind shutter which appears to function as it should but not guaranteed light tight. The deep purple bellows have had a number of old repairs and will require some attention if required light tight. Comes with three wooden dark slides. This camera is sold as found and untested, one of a large collection that has been stored away for well over 20 years so please study photos carefully as they form large part of description and please message with any questions or if further photographs are required.
