Antique 1/4 Plate J Lancaster & Son The International Camera with Blue/Green Bellows. This excellent antique tailboard camera by J Lancaster dates to the late 19th/very early 29th century. Called The International the camera is in overall nice condition for age with the mahogany body in good and undamaged condition with the exception of some marking/pitting to the cameras base/slide board as can be seen in the photographs. It comes with 2 Taylor Taylor Hobson of Leicester R.R. lenses, the first 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 R.R. EQ focus 7.12 f8-f45 which has some cleaning marks to front element and the second lens also T.T.H 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 R.R EQ focus 5.37 f8-f64 which appears clean and clear. The cameras green/blue bellows appear to be good and have a small repair. The camera comes complete with 2 wooden bookform D/S and 2 metal bookform D/S (Tylers Pat. 14/86). Also included Is its tripod top with screw and all comes cased in a quality thick leather bag which has unfortunately hardened over the years. The camera is sold as untested, one of a large collection that has been stored away for well over 20 years so please study photos carefully as they form a large part of description and please message with any questions or if you require further photographs.
