A very well engineered, solid metal camera, with an excellent sharp Apotar 1:2.8 fixed prime lens  (higher quality than the Agnar basic kit lens for Agfas). This is the original 1955 model, so over 60 years old!

In very good condition and working order: shutter very positive and working on all speeds (1 second through to 300th plus B), smooth focus, clean lens glass and smooth aperture stops; rangefinder spot is clear and bright and horizontally aligned through close up to infinity, allowing for accurate focusing. (Only fractionally misaligned vertically, but this doesn’t affect focus) Body work generally good for this robust camera, with very slight patina on front metal finish (see main photo)-  leatherette finish is excellent.

With its compact design, relatively fast lens and ease of focusing through the rangefinder alignment, this makes for a great street camera.
