Agfa Solinette Folding CRF Prontor SV Lens, 35mm Camera-Working, but tempramental
Vintage folding camera with original leather case (straps missing-you could fit your own stapraps). Shows quite a lot of wear and tear which is expected for a camera this age. The camera is working and the mechanism has been checked and lightly oiled. Bear in mind this is a 60 year old camera and has some quirks as the lens mechanism is purely mechanical. The self timing function work however needs a very light hand to set as it has a hair trigger and does not always trigger. Once set it work fine and does not trigger prematurely. Likewise sometimes the shutter wind needs to be rewind on the very odd occasion it might not fire first time. Sometimes jams if not opened properly.
Would benefit from a professional dismantling and service, but can still be used as it is to produce photos, though it is a bit temperamental and you will need to get to know the mechanism to unjam it when/ if it jams. (always jams easily-only takes a few seconds to do so-do not force).
I will add some tips along with the camera on how to reset the lens mechanism if it jams. PDF instruction on this or similar cameras are also available online.
