Agfa Isolette III w/Apotar 4.5 85mm
Excellent example of the 120 film 6×6 Isolette III rangefinder camera, looks great and works well. The Apotar lens is in very good condition; clean ad clear, no fungus or haze, no balsam seperation. no marks. Focusing is good, a little stiff at the short end, but manageable. The shutter, a Prontor-S, is working good, sounds distinct, maybe a little hesitation from 1/1-1/5. Rangefinder is working as expected, not tested for accuracy, nor are the shutter times. Film transportation seems to work well, camera has not been tested with film. Doors work correct and smoothly.
The exterior is in beautiful near mint condition, i can see one tiny bit of paint loss on the film door hinge, except for that there’s nothing i can see. Absolutely no damage. Leather case in good, fully useable condition.
What to expect
When buying from me you should have high expectations. I aim to sell high quality products, with service to follow. My stock is used and vintage camera equipment, mostly lenses, but also cameras and other related gear. I will describe each item as well as i can according to my knowledge. I am not a camera expert, i have no technical skills, but i have seen and used lots of camera gear. As they say; a little dust is to be expected. Everything else i will try to describe. I aim to sell proper gear to satisfied customers.
Logisitics
I have a great deal of experience with selling items online. Handling and packing of your item will be done in a professional manner. I use Postnord (Swedish post). Registered Mail 2 000 (content value max. SEK 2,000) or Registered Mail 10 000 (content value max. SEK 10,000). Tracked and insured. When sending outside the EU, i will enclose special customs documentation, staing what is in the parcel and it’s correct value. I will not handle any further customs clearance. To make it easy my postage fees are flat rate, usually 10 to anywhere in the world, this may sometimes be reflected in the asking price, many items are 20-25 in real postage.
Responsibility
I take full responsibility that my listings are as advertised. My descriptions are done using common sense and some knowledge of the subject, but the objects are old and opinions may differ. Please take into account that the images are a substantial part of the description. All images are of the object on sale and taken by me. I am in no position to offer returns unless something is clearly wrong in the way the item was described, in other words; no open returns. If something is clearly wrong, I will make it right.
