Agfa Billy Record 8.8.Film folding camera. Includes the original leather case and 3 screw-incable shutter release rods (2 spares). Uses 120 roll film for 6x9cmframes. The lens is Agfa Anastigmat Igestar in Automat shutter. This model hasthe cosmetic chrome decor variations. Produced c1938. Lens: Agfa Anastigmat Igestar8.8/100mm – Shutter: Agfa Automat, speeds 1/25 – 1/100 sec. – Aperture:1:8.8-1:16 (see photos to verify). My father brought this back for my mum from WW2and I believe he exchanged his cigarette ration for it. The inner part of the mechanismwhich opens and closes the front cover has become detached but this does notaffect the operation of the camera and could be fixed if you know what you aredoing. Not used since the 1960s and has been stored carefully away in a smoke andpet free household.
